C2 TASER

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since last post, I was traveling a bit, and want to apologize that I wasn’t posting for you.

Today, I’d like to share a story about one of the hottest products in self defense C2 TASER.

Freddy started hanging around old man Benson’s sporting goods store when he was just ten years old. Now sixteen, and saving up his cash for college, he ran the cash register on weekends when the owner took a few hours off to spend time with his daughter and grandkids.

Weekend afternoons were pretty quiet in the neighborhood. Most folks did their shopping at the mall these days, though many of the office workers still stopped by during the week. For Freddy, it usually meant a chance to catch up on inventory or even the rare opportunity to get some more homework done.

Melissa, who helped her father run the store, had spent some time and energy upgrading the store’s security in the past few months. She and her father didn’t believe in stashing a gun behind the counter - they didn’t want to run the risk that it might be used against them, or stolen at night and used in some other crime.

So Melissa picked up a TASER. She figured that if someone came in and threatened her father or one of her clerks, they could point and shoot it just like a gun.

As the Bensons enjoyed their afternoon in the park, Freddy caught up on some of his schoolwork. He couldn’t wait to enroll in pre-med courses that fall. As he looked up from his textbook, he noticed an unfamiliar figure hovering around the store. The guy was easily a foot taller than Freddy, and weighed about two hundred fifty pounds.

“Can I help you?” Freddy shouted.

The man darted his eyes at Freddy in between glances at the four corners of the store.

Freddy leaned up off his chair, and asked, “Is there something I can help you find?”

Suddenly, the man darted toward Freddy, eyes ablaze. He bellowed, “Yeah! You can help me find all the money in your cash register, punk! And when you’re done with that, I want you to come in to the back room and get that safe open!”

Freddy noticed a bulge in the man’s sweatshirt, and didn’t want to risk what might happen if that was any kind of weapon. In a split second, he grabbed the TASER from underneath the counter. Freddy locked the laser sight onto his target and pulled the trigger.

Even though the robber was still about fifteen feet away, two small darts found their mark and channeled 50,000 volts of electricity over the pair of wires. The criminal collapsed, and Freddy knew from biology class that the attacker’s muscles wouldn’t stop contracting until he was stuck in the fetal
position.

After the cops and paramedics arrived, Freddy learned that the robber was high on meth, looking for cash for a quick score. Without the TASER, who knows what he might have done. Freddy knew
that, in that state, the guy could even have survived a gunshot and still done some serious damage.

Closing the store that day, he couldn’t wait to swing by the park and give Melissa the news.

Unarmed Combat Course

Unlike most people, Bridget hated quitting time. She wasn’t a
workaholic or anything, but ever since her company moved its
office to save on expenses, she dreaded the thought of the four-
block walk to the parking garage.

Winter made things worse. On top of feeling cold, Bridget
couldn’t stand to walk down the street in the dark. In the middle
of December, four in the afternoon may as well have been four in
the morning.

Adding insult to injury, her office manager had banned anything
that could be perceived as a weapon from the workplace. Bridget
couldn’t bring her pepper spray to work, nor could she invest in
a stun gun. Showing up at the office with anything she could use
to defend herself would get her fired.

When the New Year rolled around, Bridget vowed to get control of
things. She liked her job - and her paycheck - way too much to
just give it up. She thought about taking a martial arts course,
but that would eat up more time out of her day.

Surfing the web for ideas, she stumbled across one name again and
again.

Frank Cucci.

Wondering why so many people were talking about Frank’s
revolutionary self-defense system, she discovered that he picked
up some amazing techniques after spending over a decade as a Navy
SEAL. Behind enemy lines, you can’t afford to use something that
doesn’t work - the first time.

Watching Frank’s video, she studied how he blended moves from
different disciplines. Nobody else would even think to mix up
Bruce Lee’s fighting moves with straight up roadhouse brawling.
It’s what works, Bridget realized, and she didn’t have to be a
star martial artist to make it work for her.

A few weeks later, Bridget’s co-workers complained about stuff
missing from their desks. She didn’t think too much about it
until she took the stairwell to the lunchroom - and stumbled into
an office thief!

All this time, she had worried about that awful walk to the
garage, when the real threat was right in her own building!

Bridget didn’t waste any time, since Frank’s visceral learning
style put all those key moves into “muscle memory.” Before he
could reach for a weapon, that thief found himself totally
subdued - by a five foot two inch tall office worker!

And for the first time in months, Bridget walked to her car
feeling totally confident in her surroundings.

VISEC Surveillance Software

It’s been awhile after our last post, and I wanted to share with you another interesting story.

Jay loved his new house. He rolled over the money he invested
from his year-end bonus into a down payment, now that he could
afford to pay the monthly mortgage.

Many of the neighbors on his quiet, tree-lined street had lived
there for generations. He loved the idea of starting a family in
that house, even though he knew he’d have to jump a few more pay
grades at work before that could happen.

When he returned from work one night, he noticed a few things out
of place. A few of his picture frames had been knocked over. A
soda can left on the coffee table from last night’s television
watching rolled on its side.

After a quick inspection, Jimmy felt secure that nothing valuable
was missing. None of the doors had been unlocked, and none of the
windows broken. So he went to work the next morning curious, but
not concerned.

He grew alarmed when he returned the next day, and saw some trash
strewn around the living room. Now, things were looking pretty
strange. He worried that he might have to use the money he was
saving for vacation to buy an expensive security system.

After Brenda, the head of the neighborhood watch, assured Jay
that their neighborhood was safe from both pranksters and career
criminals, she asked if he had a computer with a webcam. A little
puzzled, he told her that he had one, though he didn’t seem to
use it that often.

“That’s just fine,” said Brenda. “A few months before you moved
in, I got a little spooked by something I saw on the news. Some
days I can’t get home from work before the bus drops my kids off
from sports practice. So I found some software that lets me keep
an eye on them. I think it might work for your situation, too.”

A few days later, Jay installed his own copy of the VISEC
Surveillance Software. Although there hadn’t been any more
strange occurrences in the last few days, he still didn’t want to
take a chance.

The following week, Brenda’s advice paid off. Jay’s cell phone
buzzed with a text message from his VISEC system. Jay had
programmed it to alert him to any activity in the house.

With a lump in his throat, Jay swung around to his office
workstation, and clicked on the special link that allowed him to
watch what was happening at his house.

To his surprise, he saw a little gray kitten bouncing around on
his couch. He actually started to crack up as he watched the
tiny cat attack a throw cushion.

Later that night, Jay pulled the recordings that VISEC had
automatically made when it sensed motion in the house. He saw the
cat peek out from a loose ventilation grate in the corner of the
living room. It looks like Jay had a stowaway!

After luring the cat back out from hiding with a little lunchmeat
Jay fixed the grate and made an appointment with the neighborhood
vet. He and his new companion slept soundly, under a protective
set of eyes and ears.

Voice Alert Home and Driveway Alert

Hello all,

I’d like to share with you following is a true story how the Voice Alert was used. When Dr. Ron Caro’s wife wanted to leave their apartment after their new mountain bikes were stolen from their balcony facing the alley, Dr. Caro installed a security system that has caught and prosecuted more than 14 perpetrators in the past two years.

Dr.Caro lives in an upscale neighborhood in Whittier, California, in an apartment directly above the complex’s carports adjacent to the alley. Two year’s ago, after his bikes were stolen, Dr. Caro purchased four bullet cameras, a time-lapse video recorder, and a quad to monitor the activity in and around the carports, alley, and patio.

The week after installing the system, a neighbor had a break-in, so Dr. Caro reviewed the tape to see what happened. He found the incident and gave the tape to the police. “The police took a report and told me that unless I knew where the suspect lived or who he was there was really no way to catch the guy,” Dr. Caro explained.  So Dr. Caro added Voice Alert, a wireless notification device, to his system. The Voice Alert system combines wireless infrared sensors with a speaker/receiver that allows the user to record up to six individual messages. When a sensor is triggered by activity, a signal is sent to the receiver/speaker and it plays the corresponding message to alert the home or business owner that an incident has occurred. Dr. Caro installed three Voice Alert sensors in the carport and positioned them so that the infrared beams intersected to detect anything that entered the carport. Less than a week after he installed Voice Alert, the receiver speaker sounded at 4 a.m. playing the message “Someone’s in the carport!” and waking Dr. Caro. He turned on his monitor and saw the same guy who robbed his neighbor a week earlier in his carport.

The time-lapse recorder was recording and Caro, a former Marine Corps Officer, held the suspect until police arrived. Dr. Caro gave the time-lapse recording to the police, providing enough evidence to prosecute the suspect. That same scenario, with different suspects, has occurred numerous times over the past two years. Each with the same outcome, the suspect gets caught and prosecuted.

“One police officer even mentioned that more people should have a system like mine,” said Dr. Caro. “As far as I’m concerned, surveillance without sensors is not effective. You need to catch them in the act.” Dr. Caro looked at other notification systems and found Voice Alert to have the best wireless range and the best price. “It’s a great piece of equipment,” said Dr. Caro.

Stunning Ring Pepper Defense.

Happy New Year Every One. I hope All had a great holiday season this year.

It’s Thursday, Jan. 01 2009 and I have a new post for you.

Following is a story how the Stunning Ring was used.

I hope you never find yourself in the situation of the owner of a small restaurant in Chicago.

She was closing up her restaurant about 10 pm one night and was starting her 10 minute walk to where her car was parked. She was a little concerned, because she had heard on the radio that evening that a convicted serial rapist escaped from prison and was last seen only 4 blocks from her restaurant.

She had recently purchased a Stunning Ring Pepper Spray and kept it in her purse. She decided to take it out and put it on for the walk to her car.

As she rounded the corner of a building, a man stepped into her path and asked if she had $5.00 because he was hungry.

She attempted to go around him, but he grabbed her arm. She immediately shoved her left hand in his face and triggered the Stunning Ring.

A blast of pepper spray went up his nose and in his eyes. He immediately let go of her and started rubbing at his eyes. She had plenty of time to get to her car and call the police on her cell phone.

The guy who attacked her was not the escaped convict.

This made her realize (and you should realize also) that you should not wait for a escaped serial rapist before getting something to defend yourself. You never know when you could be the next target of some jerk.

Be Prepared, and Be Safe.

Dog Food Diversion Safe Saves Priceless Valuables From Theft.

Merry Christmas Everyone. Great Christmas Story for you.

It was a priceless moment. Last Christmas while opening a gift the entire family stood by watching in anticipation. I sensed something was up. As I opened the gift from my son a half dozen camera flashes went off all at the same time. I guess everyone wanted to see my reaction to receiving a can of dog food as a Christmas gift. But getting dog food as a Christmas gift from my youngest son the prankster wasn’t all that unusual. I cast my gaze in his direction with a quizzical look. He simply said that the gift wasn’t what it seemed to be.

It certainly wasn’t what it appeared to be. It turned out to be a diversion safe and it ended up being a godsend. Diversion or hideaway safes are simply secure devices designed to hold valuables. The cool thing about them is they are disguised to look like everyday household products. Maybe my boy was trying to tell me something by choosing the dog food diversion safe but I’m glad he did.

When a burglar comes into your home he usually wants to be in and out as quickly as possible. He’ll go after jewelry and obvious valuables that are in plain view. And even if he’s aware of the many ways available for people to hide valuables he simply doesn’t have the time to explore all the possibilities. As I’ve mentioned, the dog food safe turned out to be a blessing.

For the last 15 years my wife and I have vacationed in Las Vegas every spring. As we were packing for our yearly trip my wife suggested we store some valuable jewelry and credit cards in the dog food safe. I shrugged and said why not. I was surprised to see how much stuff would actually fit into this little thing. I had an old gold watch that had been handed down from my great, great grandfather and Alice, my wife had a set of pearls that had been given to her by her great grandmother, a woman who had survived the sinking of the Titanic. These pearls and the clothes on her back were all she came here with.

Well, we left for Vegas after leaving the dog food safe on the pantry shelf with all the other canned goods. We had a great time as we usually did. On the night before we were to return I got a call in our room. It was our son Jeff calling to tell us the house had been burglarized. The thieves got a TV and a laptop and that’s all. The police told him that something must have startled the intruder because there was a lot more easily portable stuff he could have taken.

I was stunned at first. Then it occurred to me to ask about the diversion safe. Jeff checked the pantry and said it was there and the priceless contents were also still there. I though affectionately of my son the prankster who’d given me the safe that preserved the items impossible to replace. Be prepared.

Taser Saves Peace Loving Man From Attack.

Sometimes life just gets too weird. Living in Miami I’ve just sort of gotten used to crime. I got a TASER M18 from a good friend for Christmas and I must admit I wasn’t pleased. I fancy myself a peace-loving individual so I wanted nothing to do with owning a TASER. My friend insisted that like guns, devices like TASER, stun guns, and pepper spray all help to preserve life rather than destroy it. And in theory I agree, it’s just the idea of hurting someone that doesn’t sit well with me.

My friend understood my position and turned over the sales slip for the Taser so I could return it. Before realizing what it was I’d opened the packaging so I wondered if the store that sold it would even accept it back. I called and they said they’d gladly take it back. I was forced to take the bus into the downtown area. That turned out to be a big mistake.

It was nearly dark as I walked up the street to return the Taser gun. I was wearing a light jacket and carried the gun in my pocket. I was within a block of the store when a nasty drunk stumbled from the alley and asked me for money. I just kept walking but he was persistent and stayed right with me. I told him I had nothing for him. That’s when he came at me with a knife. I jumped out of the way but he turned and came at me again. Before I realized it he was on the ground out cold and I stood there with the Taser in my hand.

I couldn’t believe what I’d done, but surprisingly, I didn’t feel any remorse at the prospect of saving myself from harm. Yes, I was pretty nervous but that passed. Someone must have seen what had happened because the police showed up only a few minutes later. I explained what had happened and they flat out told me that the TASER had probably saved me from being hurt seriously or even killed. I suddenly began to see things differently.

The police were kind enough to take their report on the spot so I didn’t have to go to the station. And I was also surprised that they hadn’t taken the TASER from me. They did tell me that the guy who’d attacked me was a habitual criminal and nuisance and that I’d need to testify if I wanted him in jail. I said I’d do whatever I could to cooperate.

Well, my little adventure changed my mind about self-defense. I take my Taser with me whenever I venture out into the city, which is often. And I now agree with my friend, the proper use of protection devices preserves life. Be prepared.

Wife Beating Coward Learns The Hard Way.

My sister Joan married the wrong guy. Of course, our family didn’t realize this right away. At first, Steve seemed to be a prince. He was handsome, intelligent and appeared to be very caring. I remember actually feeling good that my sister had finally found someone nice. But behind the scenes things were very different.

I guess I thought something might have been wrong when I’d see Joan with bruises on her arms. I mentioned it to her and she explained that she had fallen while boating with Steve as their boat hit an unexpected roll. Well, that turned out to be a cover-up story. The truth was, Steve had been physically abusive for quite some time.

Eventually my sister and Steve separated and she had a restraining order issued against him. But that didn’t stop Steve. Joan suffered a sever beating soon after the separation. She came to the family for help. Of course we all encouraged her to call the police but she was afraid to do that. My dad suggested she get a Taser or a chemical repellent like Mace.

She purchased both online. A couple of months passed without problems. And then I got a call from Joan. She sounded a bit shaken but not hysterical. She said Steve was on the floor and he was semi-conscious. He had come to start trouble and she immediately blasted him directly in his face with a product called Mace Triple Action. I had no idea what that was but Joan was more than happy to explain.

This product combines pepper spray, tear gas and an ultra violet dye designed to identify the attacker. I called dad and the two of us quickly went to Joan’s house. When we arrived Joan explained that Steve had come around but still hadn’t learned his lesson. He picked himself up and started with some threatening language. That’s when Joan not only sprayed him again with the Mace, but also immediately followed up with a shot to the groin with an M18 Advanced Taser. She said she didn’t remember how long the Taser blast lasted, but by the looks of Steve, who lay unconscious on the floor, it was long enough.

When the jerk finally came around dad and I had a little talk with Steve. We told him that we were going to call the police and that we were also going to press charges and testify to all of the abuse over the years. He listened for a few minutes and made another verbal threat to Joan. I guess this guy is just a slow learner because that threat earned him another blast. And again, she first sprayed him with the Mace and followed it with another shot from the Taser. When he regained consciousness, he was more than happy to have the police called.

The story has a happy ending. Steve and Joan divorced soon after the incident and Steve moved 3000 miles away to his family on the west coast. Joan said she would have probably had to endure a lot more abuse had it not been for the Mace and the high-powered Taser. Be prepared

Lipstick Pepper Spray Saves The Day.

I guess old sayings get to be old because they make so much sense. My aunt Maggie has often said, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” And she lives by those words. Years ago a friend of hers was attacked in an underground parking garage in downtown Boston just minutes after my aunt had left the same garage. Right then she realized she needed to protect herself. A week later she bought two different types of pepper spray dispensers.

One, she keeps dangling on the turn signal lever in her car. It just sits there innocently looking pretty in a bright red canister. She’s never had to use it but it’s ready just in case. Another one she keeps in her purse. It’s called lipstick pepper spray because the canister looks exactly like a tube of lipstick. This particular item did come in handy one time and probably saved aunt Maggie from a trip in an ambulance.

She was at a popular nightclub in Boston having a good time. She went to the ladies room to freshen up after some vigorous dancing. As she made her way to the exit a large, menacing woman blocked her path out of the restroom while another woman came up from behind and asked her for a light. Sensing something was very wrong aunt Maggie positioned herself with her back against the wall and began fishing through her purse pretending to look for a lighter.

The menacing women that stood blocking the door shouted to her partner to hurry up and get on with it. It was then that Maggie saw the box cutter. The second woman told Maggie to hand over her purse and she wouldn’t have to cut her. That’s when Maggie pulled out the lipstick pepper spray pretending it was a lighter. She held it up, suddenly saying, look here, I found my lighter. The woman with the blade turned her head just in time to get a face full of pepper spray. She let out a shriek and dropped the blade to cover her eyes.

The larger woman ran out into the club and out the front door. Maggie called a bouncer in to detain the woman who had taken the pepper spray blast. Management called the police and the woman was arrested. Aunt Maggie had been prepared and at the very least, being prepared saved her from being robbed and probably worse.

Things aren’t like they used to be. There are people on the streets that will harm others just for sport. And if that’s not bad enough, there are people out of work and hungry because of the recession. Many of them are desperate and willing to do whatever they can to have a little something. Either way, it’s wise to steer clear of trouble. But when you find yourself in a bad situation, being prepared is the only alternative. Be prepared.

Give An Attacker The Shock Of His Life With A Compact Stun Gun.

Times are changing. And unfortunately, not for the better. Our economy is circling the drain while unemployment is climbing. And if that’s not enough, prices for essentials such as food and shelter are rising. Experts are saying we’re already in a recession that’s likely to escalate to a full-blown depression. While the media devotes their attention to the economy, something else is happening that doesn’t get much press: violent crime is increasing. As resources continue to become scarce, more and more people will do whatever they feel they have to do to survive. Will their survival be at your expense? Not if you’re prepared.

I have a close friend who’s been paying attention to our deteriorating society for the last 25 years. And because he’s been aware of an ever-increasing criminal element just about everywhere we turn, he’s prepared himself, and being prepared has paid off.

Earlier this year he was on his way to LAX to pick up a family member. He stopped for a traffic light within a mile or so of the airport and was suddenly confronted by a would-be car-jacker. I have to use the term ‘would-be’ because my friend actually came out way ahead using a pocket stun gun that resembled an MP3 player.

The attacker opened the front door of the car and slid across the seat with a knife in his hand. He told my friend to pull over. Once they’d stopped the attacker told my friend to empty his pockets. That was the last thing the creep remembered. My friend pulled out a lightweight 80,000-volt stun gun and jammed it onto the attacker’s chest releasing the full electrical impact for more than five seconds. Needless to say, this much juice stopped the culprit from doing any harm.

You might say, something like that would never happen to you. But can you be sure? Self-defense items such as stun guns and pepper spray represent relatively inexpensive insurance against attackers who often have no regard for human life. Dramatic change is on the horizon. Criminals have been virtually given a license to do what they want as judges’ hand out light sentences for even the most violent crimes. This means that you’ve got to prepare yourself for anything.

Stun guns offer excellent protection against violent attackers. Many are designed to appear harmless, offering the potential victim the chance to surprise her attacker. And these self-defense devices cause no permanent injury to the attacker. Usually a light jolt is enough to repel even the most determined aggressor, but virtually all stun guns can deliver complete, though temporary disability. And that’s just what you’re going to need if you find yourself staring evil in the face, the ability to send your attacker to his knees while you wait for the proper law enforcement people to come to your aid. Protect yourself.
